Mobility, clean water, and a first step into prosthetics.

In 2025, Sitis Christi supported three practical projects focused on mobility and access to clean water. A prosthetic leg and two rural water taps improved daily life for more than 1,800 people.

Story 01

Water Tap for Apostolic Christian School

At Apostolic Christian School, more than 1,000 students did not have on-site access to drinking water. Students carried water from home or left school grounds to find it, which interrupted learning, safety, and hygiene.

Sitis Christi funded a dedicated school water tap for drinking water and restroom hygiene. The tap supports a safer and more consistent school day for students and staff.

Rural Water Tap, Waterloo

In a rural community in Waterloo, residents had limited access to clean water and often relied on distant or unsafe sources. A new water tap helped address that need.

Sitis Christi funded the installation of a community tap that now provides clean, reliable water for up to 800 villagers every day. The tap reduces time spent collecting water and supports safer daily routines for families.

Story 03

A Prosthetic Leg for Margarito

First amputee supported by Sitis Christi

Margarito, an amputee in Mexico, had been unable to return to his work as a bus driver. Without a prosthetic leg, he faced limits on mobility and income.

Sitis Christi provided a prosthetic leg, fitted and adjusted for his daily needs. With it, Margarito was able to return to work and move through daily life with greater independence.

Margarito was the first amputee supported through this work. His prosthetic was important because it introduced Sitis Christi to prosthetics — an area the organization became heavily involved with in 2026.
